The Gerda OPTIMA 60 is our entry-level model, and it offers a great value. You get a top-quality steel and aluminum front door, all at a price similar to premium composite doors. Having a front door made entirely of metal, with two of the strongest door materials, not only saves you money but also gives you a better look, feel, and overall quality.
THERMO PREMIUM Series
The THERMO PREMIUM Upgrading from the Optima 60 to the Thermo Premium 75 model offers several benefits. You still get the same high specifications, including the robust aluminum and steel construction, but with a thicker and more substantial door. The frame and door leaf are deeper, resulting in improved performance. The U-Values are lower, and you can also enjoy larger door sizes, surpassing typical dimensions for both width and height.
THERMO PRIME Series
THERMO PRIME For better U-Values and upgraded insulation, the Gerda Thermo Prime 75 is an excellent choice. It features advanced polyurethane insulation between the steel layers, which boosts its thermal performance. This model offers the same stylish designs as the Thermo Premium, and it’s capable of accommodating slightly taller configurations.

Smart Lock
tedee is the innovative smart locking system manufactured by Gerda. It is compatible with all four of the residential doors that we distribute here at Pioneer in Essex.
The tedee lock brings as much innovation as the rest of what Gerda put their name to. It is the smallest smart lock on the market. Fitted with a tiny yet powerful battery, it only requires a very occasional charge and is discretely installed to the residential door.
It can be controlled from both Android and Apple devices, where an app provides the homeowner with notifications, an activity log, remote control and much more.
